CNC machining centers are one of the commonly used processing equipment in modern manufacturing industry, with the advantages of high precision, high efficiency, and high stability. They are widely used in the aviation and aerospace, automotive, electronics, and communication industries. During the processing process, processing accuracy is a critical indicator, directly related to the quality and performance of the processed parts. Therefore, it is very important to detect the processing accuracy of CNC machining centers.
The machining accuracy of CNC machining center mainly includes positioning accuracy, repeatability accuracy, machining accuracy, surface roughness, etc. Below, we will introduce how the machining accuracy of CNC machining center is inspected.
1. Positioning accuracy: Positioning accuracy refers to the relative position accuracy between the workpiece and the processing tool during processing in a CNC machining center, which is usually represented by coordinate errors. The detection of positioning accuracy can be achieved by installing a laser interferometer or other precision testing instruments on the CNC machining center, and the deviation between the position of the processing tool and the surface of the workpiece can be detected by the laser interferometer, thus obtaining the data of positioning accuracy.
2. Repeatability accuracy: Repeatability accuracy refers to the consistency of the workpiece's positioning accuracy when a CNC machining center performs the same machining task multiple times. The repeatability accuracy can be tested by performing the same machining task multiple times on the same workpiece and then measuring the workpiece using a coordinate measuring machine or other equipment to obtain the deviation data.
3. Machining accuracy: Machining accuracy refers to the dimensional accuracy that a CNC machining center can achieve during machining, which is usually expressed by dimensional tolerance. The machining accuracy can be detected by machining a set of standard workpieces and then measuring the dimensional accuracy of the workpieces using measurement instruments, thus obtaining the data of machining accuracy.
4. Surface roughness: Surface roughness refers to the smoothness and flatness of the workpiece surface obtained by CNC machining center, which is usually expressed by surface roughness parameters. The surface roughness of the workpiece can be detected by using surface roughness measuring instruments to measure the surface of the processed workpiece, thereby obtaining the data of surface roughness.
